OptaJoe Quiz IX Review

The 9th OptaJoe Quiz took place yesterday evening (7th November) at Under the Bridge, Stamford Bridge and featured a packed house of 150 contestants from 28 teams.

This year saw quiz regulars including Sky Sports, The Telegraph, BT Sport and the BBC joined by newcomers such as Omnisport and recently renamed 10 Media.

In one of the closest quizzes to date, the BT Sport Stats Team ran out eventual winners, regaining their crown from fierce rivals Sky Sports Stats. The BT Stats team finished on 129, 6 points clear of their Sky counterparts in second, followed by The Times in third after their impressive performance.

Now a well-established evening in the football media calendar, a thank you must go to all who took part and to those who got involved on Twitter.
