NEWS John Coulson to feature on sports innovation panel at BT Tower

John Coulson, Head of Professional Football Services, is to be part of a panel discussion on innovation in sport this evening at the latest BT Tower Talk event.

He will be joined by Dries Glorieux, innovation lead from prosthetics company Ottobock, Andy Harland, sports technology lecturer at Loughborough University and IT director at Williams F1, Graeme Hackland, who is also delivering the keynote speech beforehand. The panel will be chaired by Shane Richmond, former technology editor at the Daily Telegraph.

Working on the OptaPro brand, John has an expert knowledge of how clubs are using detailed data to enhance on-field performance and support recruitment strategies. Alongside data-led analysis, a range of topics including the use of prosthetics and performance monitoring will also be addressed.

The BT Tower Talk events, running since 2013, have in the past covered a wide range of sporting, social, technological and scientific issues.
