Reports to: Head of Data Editorial Services
Location: Leeds
Hours of Work: 37.5 h

Perform are looking for new members of their data editorial team supporting live broadcast of sports events. The role will be based in our Leeds office. The successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of sport, especially European football and US sports such as baseball, basketball and American football, but knowledge of other sports or data editorial experience would be an advantage. The role will require weekend and night-time work.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

The successful candidate will have the ability to identify interesting topics and facts before, during and after a game that add value to the broadcast.

Experience of sports broadcast production is an advantage.

A broad and detailed knowledge of football, especially in Europe.

Bilingual candidates with good English skills an advantage.

Experience of data editorial an advantage.

Ability to manipulate data and produce editorial content to a high standard and work to tight deadlines. Accuracy is paramount.

Must be flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the role.

Patience, common sense and the ability to learn quickly are key attributes to this role.

Must be able to work in a team and be prepared to learn on the spot and use initiative.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with content management systems would be beneficial.

Knowledge of xml a definite plus.

The successful candidate will be innovative with the desire to push the company forward and develop new ideas and strategies.
