NOTE - this is a part time role based in our Leeds office and therefore you will only be considered if you live within a reasonable commuting distance. 

Perform are recruiting staff to join Opta’s team of rugby union analysts in Leeds. Opta is the UK’s leading compiler of rugby union performance data, analysing over 1000 rugby matches each year. The duties will include live and post match analysis of tournaments such as the Aviva Premiership, European Rugby Champions Cup, Top 14, Guinness Pro 12, Super Rugby, RBS Six Nations, Autumn Internationals and Summer Tours.

The Candidate 

Essential skills

  • Excellent knowledge of international and domestic players and teams
  • Display sound IT skills and an aptitude to learn to use new software packages
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods and pay attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings 

Desirable skills

  • Previous video analysis experience
  • Coaching or refereeing qualifications
  • Understanding of French
