NOTE - this is a part time role based in our Leeds office and therefore you will only be considered if you live within a reasonable commuting distance. 

Peform are recruiting staff to join Opta’s team of rugby union analysts in Leeds. Opta is the UK’s leading compiler of rugby union performance data, analysing over 1000 rugby matches each year. The duties will include collecting live data on competitions such as the Japanese Top League, Mitre 10 Cup and National Rugby Championship using our bespoke analysis tools.

The Candidate 

Essential skills

  • Excellent knowledge of international and domestic players and teams
  • Display sound IT skills and an aptitude to learn to use new software packages
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods and pay attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work out of hours shifts 

Desirable skills

  • Previous video analysis experience
  • Coaching or refereeing qualifications

 

Start date – immediate

Hours – Overnight Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday
